lessons at Katzin Music! Your teacher has given us his lesson
policy as stated below. Please read both Katzin
Music's general policy and your teacher's
policy.
We will be glad to answer any questions you may have. |
About Ruth Katzin:
Ruth Katzin, co-owner of Katzin Music, has been a respected
flute teacher in the 4 Corners area since moving to Durango
in 1977. She had previously been a well known teacher, adjudicator,
and clinician in the Chicago area. Her teaching technique is
traditional with emphasis on helping students to become self-reliant.
Students of all ages and all levels are welcome for private
instruction with Ms. Katzin.

Ruth's Lesson Policy: |
|
- Lessons are $20.00 per ½ hour.
- 24 hour notice is required for cancellations so that
the time slot can be used for rescheduling.
- Students will be charged if a 24 hour notice is not given.
- Ms. Katzin expects students to practice regularly to
insure the success of private instruction.

Ms. Katzin expects her students to prepare
for lessons by practicing the lesson material thoroughly.
Ruth Katzin provides ensemble experience for her private students
through monthly group lessons.
These ensembles are in lieu of that week's private lesson and
the fee is the same as the half- hour rate.
Ensemble experience is a valuable part of a student's musical
development; therefore attendance is important. |
